Jade's cancer hasn't spread

Reality TV star Jade Goody has found out her cervical cancer has not spread, but she will need a hysterectomy.

Tests performed this week on Jade, one of Big Brother's most famous contestants, revealed that the cancer is treatable. But the 27-year-old will need to have chemotherapy and radiotherapy as well as a full hysterectomy.

Jade entered the Royal Marsden, a cancer specialist centre, on Thursday and is expected to remain there over the weekend.

Her children, Freddie, three, and Bobby, five, are staying with their father, Jade's ex-partner Jeff Brazier.

Jade was on the Indian version of Big Brother, called Bigg Boss, when she discovered she had cervical cancer. The Bermondsey-born star returned to the UK immediately after show producers broke the news in the diary room.

Jade joined the show while awaiting the results of tests performed at Harley Street. It was the Big Brother star's third cancer scare and followed four mystery collapses.

She is now said to be devastated that she will not be able to have the girl that she always wanted.
