Mel Sykes turned down Bond Girl role

TV presenter Melanie Sykes has said she once turned down the chance to be a Bond Girl.
The former model and occasional host of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here said that she was offered the chance to appear as one of 007’s beautiful conquests opposite Pierce Brosnan.
But she was reluctant to play the role of a nurse as she had just started seeing the man she later married, Italian actor Daniel Caltagirone.
"I didn't even go to the meeting!” said Mel, in an interview with She magazine. "I'd just started going out with Daniel and I didn't think it was right for me to be kissing Pierce Brosnan."
The 38-year-old, who has recently separated from her husband, told the magazine: "I won't get married again. When I married Daniel I believed it was for life. But there's no reason for me to do it again."
The mother-of-two said the idea of having another relationship was 'not a priority'.
