Fame Academy: Lesley's naughty tip
07/03/2007 - 17:20

Fame Academy judge Lesley Garrett has apparently given the celebrity students some rather rude advice, should they forget their words mid-performance on the charity TV talent show.
The 51-year-old opera singer has suggested that the contestants, including Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Shaun Wiliamson, insert a few swear words in the place of any they forget, according to the Daily Express.
The Yorkshire-born diva told the paper: "If I ever forget my lines, I just sing 'Kiss my a***, I come from Leeds'. It works for me.
"I sympathise with the celebs as it can get very, very scary up there if you've never sung in public before," she added.
On Saturday night, Roland Rivron missed out on the opportunity to enter the Academy after a cringeworthy rendition of Stand By Your Man.
Over the next 10 days, the remaining students, including Radio 1 DJ Colin Murray and Birds Of A Feather's Linda Robson, will be put through their paces by husband and wife singing duo David and Carrie Grant.
The final will be screened as part of Red Nose Night on Friday, March 16.
