Gordon Ramsay rocked by affair claims

TV chef Gordon Ramsay has been accused of having a seven-year affair with a notorious kiss-and-tell girl.

The News Of The World alleged on Sunday that Gordon, 42, met his long-term mistress Sarah Symonds, 38, in a London hotel last week.

According to the report, Gordon has been having an affair with Symonds since they met in 2001, just weeks after she sold the story of her affair with ex-Tory MP Jeffery Archer.

But yesterday the star of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and The F-Word posed for pictures with his wife of 12 years, Tana outside their family home.

Gordon refused to comment on the allegations, saying only: "It’s time for Sunday lunch. I’m starving."

The story claims that the pair have met secretly in London and Los Angeles.

In October 2007, Symonds cemented her reputation as a 'professional mistress' by writing her book, Having An Affair? A Handbook For The Other Woman, and even appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show.

In the book she claims: "A friend of mine was having an affair with a world- famous TV chef, well-known on both sides of the Atlantic for both his bad language and his good food."

Symonds refused to comment on the allegations.
