Strictly's Brendan wants to join judging panel

Brendan Cole has revealed he would love to become a Strictly Come Dancing judge.

Fed up with not getting any perfect 10s from Craig, Bruno, Len and Arlene for his efforts on the floor with Lisa Snowden, the dancing Kiwi told Closer magazine he wants to start dishing out the scores himself.

Brendan said: "I'd jump into a seat in a heartbeat! I love this show."

Surprisingly, if he was judging, the confident 32-year-old professional dancer would not want himself and Lisa to win.

He said: "I'd love to see Tom and Austin in the final, but saying that I wouldn't be in it and that wouldn't be good!"

But Brendan better not get his hopes up as judge Arlene quashed rumours she's quitting the Strictly next year. Arlene told Closer magazine: "I'm not going anywhere. I'm sticking around and am definitely not leaving."

The 64-year-old Strictly judge - who is dating Angus Ion, 55 - revealed how she keeps in shape for her toyboy. "I like a toyboy, which is why I take good care of myself. I used to dream of being long and skinny, but I'm comfortable in my own skin now and just embrace my bum and boobs.

"I'm very strict with my diet, but I have the occasional off-day. My downfall is Christmas - I can't keep away from roast potatoes!"
