Dancing on Ice's Kyran: I'm no hotshot

Dancing On Ice hot favourite Kyran Bracken has insisted he's in the same situation as his celebrity rivals, the day before the final skate-off.

The bodypopping rugby star has scored full marks from every judge on the panel and is tipped to skate his way to victory in Saturday's climax. In fact, William Hill bookmakers have him at an almost unbeatable 1-8 on.

Asked if he felt under extra pressure as the expected winner, he said: "There is pressure anyway whether we are favourites or not favourites."

Kyran said he was in exactly the same position as fellow finalists, heartthrob Duncan James and actress Clare Buckfield.

He said the competition was 'something that we have got to go out and win', adding: "We're just going to skate as well as we can and let the rest take care of itself."

The final of Dancing on Ice will see each celebrity perform a flying routine, as well as their favourite performance from the series.

The top two will then battle it out with Bolero.

Kyran promised that his Bolero would be smouldering, joking that he had attempted to insert some bodypopping but his skating partner 'wasn't having it'.

The three finalists will take part in 35 shows with Dancing On Ice - The Tour this spring alongside their professional skating partners.

They will be joined by former Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee. Returning contestants Bonnie Langford and Stefan Booth, who made it through to last year's final, will also compete in the tour.
