The X Factor: time's up for Miss Frank!

Girl group Miss Frank have gotten their marching orders from X Factor, after losing out to series favourite Danyl Johnson in the sing-off.

The trio - consisting of three performers who got together at bootcamp, were the second of Louis Walsh's groups to be eliminated.

Twins John and Edward are now Walsh's only remaining act.

Miss Frank performed the classic Love Don't Live Here Any More in their attempt to stay in the competition, while Danyl sang With A Little Help From My Friends, the song he performed at his first audition for the show.

Both Louis and Simon remained loyal to their acts - although both expressed their amazement that either were in the bottom two.

"I cannot believe these two are in the bottom, they are both amazing performers," Louis said.

"I have never ever been so surprised in my life," Simon added. "If this is your last performance Danyl, I've never ever heard anyone go out on such a high.

"I think it's a joke that you're in the position that you're in because that was incredible."

Dannii then voted to send home Miss Frank, while Cheryl opted for Danyl, taking the situation to deadlock - and meaning the result would be decided by public vote.

It was then revealed that as they had received the least number of votes from the public, Miss Frank would be going home.

Afterwards band member Graziella said, "We'd like to thank the judges for giving us the lifeline and the opportunity."

Louis expressed hopes that the trio would "stay together as a group".

Nine acts now remain in the competition, with both Dannii and Simon still yet to lose a performer.
