Lloyd Webber and Sir Alan plummet

Any Dream Will Do's Andrew Lloyd Webber and The Apprentice's Alan Sugar may be riding high on TV, but their place is falling among Britain's rich elite.

The annual Sunday Times Rich List reports that Lord Lloyd Webber has plummeted from 87th position in the famous annual poll to 95. Sir Alan fares better at No. 84, but he has seen his own ranking fall from 71st in last year’s list.

But the two TV kings are unlikely to be feeling too blue about the figures. Both have seen their fortunes increase since last year’s list, despite being overtaken by other millionaires. Sir Alan is worth an estimated £830 million while Andrew Lloyd Webber’s wealth is said to be around £750 million.

Other TV movers and shakers on the Rich List include the Beckhams at 619 with an estimated fortune of £112 million, Simon Cowell at 700 with a cool £100 million after his success with The X Factor and American Idol, and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, also worth an estimated £100 million. Pop Idol creator Simon Fuller is worth more than all four combined, with a £450 million fortune.

Andrew has fallen eight places in this year's poll
