The UK premiere of Glee was a big success on Monday night with 1.3 million viewers tuning in to see the first two episodes and make it the most watched multi-channel programme in Britain.

The musical hit - which will be repeated on Channel 4 on Sunday January 17 from 5.35pm and is available on Channel 4's 4OD website - had the most successful launch of any American show on E4 in the past three years.

Glee is back on Monday January 18 at 9pm on E4 and Sunday 24 at 5.35pm on T4.
