Big Brother 10 housemates visit London auditions

Big Brother 10 housemates Siavash and Marcus turned up to lend some support to those auditioning for the final series of the show on Saturday.

Hundreds of hopefuls queued for hours outside Wembley Arena in London for the chance to be one of the last ever housemates before the Channel 4 show closes its doors for good.

Many of those at the auditions were hoping that a place in the house would bring them fame and fortune as it did for previous housemates including Kate Lawler, Jade Goody and Nick Bateman.

Others maintained that they had what it takes to survive life in the Big Brother house.

"I'm original, just myself," said 17-year-old hopeful Jamie Potter. "I'm eccentric, a bit strange. I dress very differently - lots of neon. Everyone is different but I just stand out."

Another would-be housemate, Natasha Reid, said, "I reckon they need me basically. I'm funny, I am who I am - what you see is what you get. I think it will be a right laugh with me in there."

Auditions have also taken place in Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow, with the final series of the show due to be screened this summer.
