The Diversity frontman has admitted he's proud of his brother for having the courage to go into the jungle - let alone do any trials!

Ashley Banjo has admitted he’s proud of his younger brother Jordan for even daring to set foot in the I’m a Celebrity jungle.

Jordan, 23 – a key member of popular dance troupe Diversity alongside Ashley – has been confirmed as one of the famous faces who will be heading into the Australian camp when the reality show returns to ITV on Sunday night.

Ashley might be older but he reckons little bro Jordan’s the fearless one

“I’ve been asked quite a few times actually but I could never go in there,” said Ashley, 28. “Jordan’s a braver man than I am – that’s why I’m so proud of him before it’s even started, just for him going in!”

Other celebrities taking part this time round include Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, TV presenter Carol Vorderman and ex-EastEnder Larry Lamb. Ashley’s confident Jordan’s got what it takes to be popular with his campmates – and those watching at home.

Ashley has nothing but nice things to say about Jordan and thinks he’ll be a hit in camp

“The public haven’t really had a chance to get to know Jordan as an individual,” said Ashley. “When you get to know and love him like we all do you find out that he’s hysterical, he’s up for a laugh, really brave, really loyal, a good all rounder and just a really nice guy. So I think people will like him and he’ll do really well in there.”

Big bro Ashley did admit, though, that he’s worried about Jordan getting injured during the Bushtucker Trials and not being able to dance.

This is particularly concerning given that Diversity – the winners of 2009’s Britain’s Got Talent – are set to front a new one-off special for ITV, Diversity Presents Steal The Show.

“I hope Jordan gets through all the challenges unscarred,” he said. “I do worry about him getting injured and also about the lack of calories as well. He won’t get to eat much in there – it’s only about 700 calories a day. But when he comes out, he’ll be going straight into rehearsals for Steal The Show, so he better win a lot of stars!”

I’m a Celebrity starts on Sunday November 13 at 9pm on ITV, and Diversity Presents Steal The Show airs in the New Year.
