There’s a treat in store for EastEnders fans as the annual BBC Children In Need Appeal Show will be coming live from Albert Square next month.
The charity bash will also include an exclusive sketch in which some famous faces from EastEnders history will return to Walford and one will be visited by some infamous ghosts from their past!
Sir Terry Wogan, Tess Daly, Fearne Cotton and Nick Grimshaw will be joined by a new host, The Saturday’s singer Rochelle Humes, and the presenters wil be joined by an array of stars as they join forces to help raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Legendary cartoon characters Tom and Jerry will also be on the bill in an exclusive cartoon made especially for BBC Children In Need.
But the highlight of the night for Strictly Come Dancing fans will come when legendary entertainer Bruce Forsyth returns alongside Tess Daly as four talented young ballroom champions take to the dancefloor alongside professional dancers in a bid to win the first Pudsey glitterball trophy!
One Direction, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Susanne Boyle, Boyzone and The Script will also be appearing in a star-studded night of entertainment.
Sir Terry Wogan, BBC Children in Need Life President, says: “It was my privilege to present the very first Children in Need in 1980 and over the years it has truly become the British Public’s charity.
“Their extraordinary generosity has meant that their donations of over £740 million have made a real difference to the lives of this country’s disadvantaged children and young people.”
