Johnno Dean, last seen in Hollyoaks in 2005, is returning for a big storyline involving his ex-wife, Frankie Osborne

Hollyoaks has announced it’s bringing back Johnno Dean later this month as part of a big new storyline for the Osborne family.

Actor Colin Wells, will reprise his role as Johnno, who was last seen in Hollyoaks in 2005 after being booted out by furious wife Frankie, for having an affair.

Johnno’s sudden arrival in the village, will leave his ex-wife with some huge and life-changing decisions to make when he offers to whisk her away for a life on the open road as a Cher tribute act! Oooh tempting!

Frankie has certainly been through the mill this year, not only did she discover that hubby Jack was a murderer, her son Darren has been banged up in prison for drug-dealing and Nancy has been diagnosed as having MS.

When Johnno turns up at the end of this month, Jack is furious and gives Frankie an ultimatum but it seems Frankie’s tempted by Johnno’s offer and could be turning her back on Chester.

MAC SETS FIRE TO NEETA’S PICTURE AND CAUSES THE EXPLOSION

Will she go or will she stay?  As she ponders her decision  the  rest of the Osbornes head to the school prize-giving. However tragedy strikes and their lives are at risk, when Hollyoks High turns into a raging inferno following a horrific gas explosion triggered by Mac Nightingale. Meanwhile Frankie is left alone in the house with Johnno and he needs an answer fast.

Will Frankie leave Hollyoaks without knowing what terrible danger her family is in, or will a tragedy keep her in the village?
