The hit ITV2 show The Only Way Is Essex could soon give viewers the chance to dress like its stars – with plans to launch a clothing range.

Production company Lime Pictures, which makes the show, is said to be in talks with manufacturers and distributors about making the move into fashion – although a deal is not believed to be close.

However it is thought that the range would include dresses, shoes, hats and nightwear – with The Sun reporting that stores such as New Look have been approached about stocking the clothes.

And there are also reportedly plans to launch a range of beauty products in conjunction with the show.

The Only Way Is Essex – known as TOWIE by its fans – has been an unexpected success since its launch on ITV2 last year, and has made stars of many of its cast including Amy Childs, Lauren Goodger, Mark Wright, Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenburgh.

It has also prompted the launch on E4 of a more upmarket rival, Made In Chelsea, and some members of the cast have even talked about the prospect of making a film.

Sam has said previously, “I think they should make a TOWIE movie. That would be funny.”
