Apprentice candidate Raef Bjayou is set for a new career – as a TV presenter on Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan‘s new show, according to the papers.

The Sunday Mirror reports that the 27-year-old will make his first appearance with the pair in the autumn, on their new show on digital channel Watch.

It will be his second big TV deal, after he signed up to appear in The Underdog Show on Living TV.

Raef – who was fired by Sir Alan in the later stages of the most recent series of The Apprentice – first met Richard and Judy when he was a guest on their Channel 4 show.

“Raef said his real ambition was to be a talk-show host so we took him up on it and invited him on to our programme for a live audition,” Richard Madeley said.

“Raef’s report was hilarious – the guy’s a natural. Expect to see more of him in future.”

“Raef is thrilled with the Richard and Judy deal,” a source told the paper.

“He’s never shied away from the fact that The Apprentice launched his career, but he is keen to carve out an name for himself as a presenter, not just a reality TV star”
