Scarlett drops big hint to bosses of Strictly that she'd be interested in taking part

Scarlett Moffatt could be heading for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, after revealing that she was a big fan of the show prompting fans to suggest she should be part of the line up.

The 27-year-old star, who was last seen on telly helping Dec see out the latest series of Saturday Night Takeaway in Florida, revealed: “Just realised I’ve spent two hours on the train watching old Strictly Come Dancing clips. I’ve watched that many I’ve choreographed a Charleston in my head.”

This could be taken as a big hint to producers that Scarlett would be up for performing the Charleston herself when the new series starts this autumn. And fans certainly think she’d be a good addition to the show. “Best get yourself on the next series I think you would be marvellous darling… honestly I do”, commented one, while another said: “Would love to see you on Strictly, Scarellt”.

Scarlett Moffatt isn’t the first star to be talked about for this year’s Strictly, among the other names touted has been former Treasure Hunt presenter Anneka Rice.
