What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Saturday 14th April

Britain’s Got Talent, 8pm, ITV

Singers, dance troupes, talented pets and daredevils can mean only one thing… Britain’s Got Talent is back! Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams have been travelling the length and breadth of the UK to find out what talent this country has to offer for the show’s 12th series. As the pre-recorded auditions kick off on Saturday night, hosts Ant and Dec will be waiting in the wings to celebrate with those who impress – and commiserate with the unlucky ones. After the main show, don’t forget to switch over to Britain’s Got More Talent on ITV2, where Stephen Mulhern is celebrating the show’s TV Times award win… Rating: *****

The Keith & Paddy Picture Show, 9.25pm, ITV

Keith and Paddy Picture Show Grease

As this enjoyable series returns, we are ‘Hopelessly Devoted’ to watching Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness dress up as Sandy and Danny to recreate the iconic Grease in just half an hour. It’s completely daft and silly but also hilarious as the pair get into character to play a couple of teenagers falling in love in 1950s America. There’s also an all-star guest cast including Fearne Cotton, Emily Atack and Stacey Solomon as the Pink Ladies, plus Keith’s mum Pat as Rizzo – naturally. Nicole Scherzinger also pops up to try and teach Keith how to sing, and watch out for cameos from Emma Willis, Marvin Humes (as Kenickie) and Hunter from Gladiators. So wrong and yet so right. The Grand National, from 2pm, ITV (Big race off at 5.15pm)

Forty horses tackle Aintree’s famous fences – and it’s needle-in-a-haystack time in terms of trying to pick who’ll take the crown from 2017 winner One for Arthur. Fancy a flutter? Don’t be put off if your choice isn’t among the favourites – there have been several 100-1 winners, including Mon Mome in 2009. Rating: ****
