What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Thursday 29th March

The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night, 9pm, ITV

Move over boys – it’s time for the ladies to get in on the act! Hot on the heels of last night’s The Real Full Monty, eight fearless female celebrities get ready for the performance of their lives to raise awareness of breast cancer. Ready to give the boys a run for their money are Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan, broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire, Emmerdale’s Sally Dexter, reality star Megan McKenna, former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton, actress Helen Lederer, TV legend Ruth Madoc and presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford – who have all been touched by cancer. Can these ladies show the fellas how it’s done? Rating: *****

Wannabe, BBC3

Wannabe

If you like the BAFTA-winning People Just Do Nothing, you may enjoy this mockumentary about a mum who refuses to give up her dream of pop stardom. PJDN’s Lily Brazier co-created the four-part series (all episodes available today) and stars as hapless Maxine, a deluded diva who almost made it in the mid-noughties with her girl group. A promising comedy that feels like a mix of The Office and The Big Reunion. Rating: ****

Big Cats About the House, 8pm, BBC2

Abandoned jaguar cub Maya is going from strength to strength in this week’s second episode. Giles Clark has been hand-raising her in his home since she was five days old, yet as she grows bigger and stronger it becomes clear she needs a playmate to help her learn and develop. Meanwhile, Giles also finds time to fly to Costa Rica to see the effect deforestation has had on the region’s wild cats… Rating: ****
