Can Alex catch fundraiser Gill's attacker?

When Gill Hollis, a fundraiser for Children in Need, is shot in the arm and robbed of all the money he raised, DCI Gene Hunt and the team need to do all they can to bring the robbers to justice. DI Alex Drake is certain that a Police Five reconstruction, and the help of Shaw Taylor, will lead to an arrest, much to Gene's dismay.

To try and jog Gill's memory about the incident, Alex takes him back to the crime scene. As Gill's behaviour becomes erratic, Alex realises he has Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) - and not only is it getting in the way of any progress, it's also getting right on Gene's nerves.

Alex is convinced that Gill's OCD is the key to solving the armed robbery. But Gene wants to do things his way and he'll beat a confession out of anyone who stands in his way. Terrified that Gene's actions will lead to tragedy, Alex has to fight to keep control of the case.

As Gene proves that Gill's story is flawed, Alex finds herself trying to save the life of one of the team...
