Former Holby City and EastEnders star Michael French is to don his stethoscope in fellow BBC One drama Casualty.
French will reprise his Holby role as consultant Nick Jordan in episodes which will screen in September.
It had erroneously been reported that the actor was returning to Holby, but his agent has moved swiftly to correct the story.
Wait, there's more. Apparently in time away from the wards, life events have conspired to change the hard-hearted, ruthless professional. But the transformation may not be quite complete...
