Who's Who
Donna Noble

Donna Noble

Gobby, feisty and independent, Donna is desperate to join The Doctor on his time travels - and she won't take no for an answer.

Donna first met the Doctor at the end of the final episode of series two, Doomsday, and in the second Christmas special, The Runaway Bride, when she was accidentally pulled into the TARDIS after being drugged by her fiance.

Although Donna helped the Doctor to overthrow the Racnoss Empress in that episode, she declined his invitation to travel with him largely because she was afraid of the Doctor's adventures and, to a certain extent, of The Doctor himself.

But now she wants in on the action...

Actor Profile

Catherine Tate

Catherine quickly became a household name thanks to such characters as feisty teen Lauren Cooper and Foul-mouthed Nan and catchphrases like 'Am I Bovvered?'. A standout moment for Catherine came in 2007, when she interviewed the then Prime Minister Tony Blair in character as Lauren.

Catherine first appeared as Donna Noble in Doctor Who in 2006 in the Doomsday episode and reprised the role as the runaway bride in the Christmas Special of that year. Catherine will play the Doctor's companion throughout series four.
