Michelle shot to fame as Hattie Tavernier in the popular soap EastEnders in 1990. She quit the soap after three years to pursue a pop career and achieved two hit singles Sweetness and Do You Know?
In 2003, Michelle appeared on the ITV1 reality show Reborn In The USA. Reaching the final of the competition, she came runner-up to former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley.
