Out Of Time

Bob urges Suresh to help him inject Maury Parkman with the virus, but Suresh fears this could put the population at risk. As Suresh tells Niki it's wrong to give Maury the virus, Maury takes over her mind. Unable to fend off Maury's hold, Niki injects herself with the virus and Suresh learns that Claire Bennet could be the only one to save her.

In future New York, Peter Petrelli and Caitlin are shocked to find that everyone has been evacuated. An officer tells a confused Peter that 93 per cent of the population have been killed by the Shanti virus - and others are in quarantine awaiting a cure. Later, Peter tries to rescue Caitlin from a deportation line but accidentally goes back in time.

In feudal Japan, Takezo Kensei tries to thwart Hiro's powers, but in a moment's distraction he's able to teleport himself, Yaeko and Yaeko's father to safety. Later, at White Beard's camp, Hiro fights Kensei and a lantern falls onto some gunpowder. Hiro teleports himself away as the tent explodes, and later finds Kensei's helmet in the fire's ruins.

After dropping by Claire's house unannounced, West freaks out when Mr Bennet arrives home, and Claire is forced to reveal that it was her father who abducted him. Scared and confused West flies away.
