In the first series Hiro found out he could teleport himself by bending the space-time continuum.
He is able to stop time and transport himself to anywhere in the world - past present or future. Hiro seems to be the only hero who is happy with his powers and really wants to use his gift to help people in need.
Masi studied mathematics and computer science at Brown's University before realising his talent for improvisation. He appeared as various characters on Punk'd and Reno 911 before enjoying a recurring role on Scrubs. He hasn't let his technical knowledge go to waste though and has provided special effects for over 30 films.
