Determined to nail notorious pimp and drug dealer, Toby Wilson, DCI Scott Vaughan orders a raid on a brothel, where CID believe he's making young prostitutes sell drugs. One of the girls, Charlie Bailey, is found with drugs in her room, and is brought in for questioning but is reluctant to give information.
At the same time, Pcs Jake Loughton and Lucy Slater deal with a worried mother, Fiona Glover, whose teenage daughter, Jessica, is missing. Lucy discovers a link between the two cases and the officers soon discover from further interviews with Charlie that Jessica is in serious trouble...
Meanwhile, Jenny suffers a pregnancy scare and tells Christian he'll be taking over as Acting Inspector from now on. Not wanting to make a fuss, Jenny leaves the station without saying a proper goodbye to the team.
Also, Lucy finds out something interested about Holby South's newest recruit Jake, and Christian receives an unexpected visit from Miranda and is delighted to hear she's got her life back on track.
