Scott is a young and charismatic DCI who has been called in to take over from disgraced Harry Hutchinson and he soon wins everyone over with his tough but fair attitude.
He has been through a messy divorce and is a bit of a lady's man, though he is trying to reign it in and take his new job seriously.

Oliver was born in 1973 in Dorset and went on to attend the prestigious Eton college. He was a member of the drama group Double Edge Drama and rather than studying at university, went straight into TV.
He spent a long time on the soap opera 'Families' which also launched Jude Law's career and has appeared in a wide range of TV programmes including his roles as Liam on the comedy Green Wing and Ange Clare in Tess of the D'Urbevilles.
