Michelle might have been chosen to become Sir Alan Sugar's Apprentice in series two, but Syed Ahmed was the real star of the show – or at least that's what he'd have us believe.
Syed made it down to the last five before being fired. In October 2006, Syed appeared on Sky One's Cirque de Celebritie and, in 2007, Sky One commissioned the aptly entitled documentary Syed Ahmed – Hot Air. His relationship with Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry was widely reported in the press.
