English actress Jenny Agutter is usually associated with classic, dramatic roles, but as the wife of a thief in The Invisibles she's broadened her repertoire to include a comic caper.
The Railway Children and Spooks star plays the long-suffering Barbara Riley, wife of career crim Maurice (Anthony Head), in the six-part BBC One series. And the chance to again work with Anthony and co-star Warren Clarke (Syd) was an unmissable opportunity.
She told whatsontv.co.uk: "There's a lovely combination between Anthony and Warren. They're very unlikely partners, and [Syd] is very much a part of their relationship. That's another thing she has to accept is that her husband has this other person who's in there, who's part of their lives."
