Denise Van Outen joins Danny Dyer in comedy film

Denise Van Outen is to make her film debut opposite Sarah Harding in new British comedy Run For Your Wife.

The Born To Shine judge and the Girls Aloud star will play Michelle and Stephanie - two women married to a bigamist, played by Danny Dyer.

Denise - who has a 14-month-old daughter Betsy with husband Lee Mead - told The Sun: "I'm really excited to be working with Danny Dyer and Sarah Harding. But I very much doubt there will be any late-night partying as our call time on set is 7am.

"We'll have to save that for the wrap party!"

Ray Cooney, who wrote the 1983 play, is to direct the big screen adaptation himself after turning down offers from Hollywood for a big budget remake set in New York and starring American actors.

He has chosen Cockney actor Danny to star as bigamist London cab driver John Smith and Men Behaving Badly's Neil Morrissey has been cast as John's friend Gary.

Ray has lined up plenty of cameos from his celebrity friends including Sir Cliff Richard, comedian Barry Cryer and Rolf Harris.
