Aden Theobald becomes latest Big Brother evictee

Aden Theobald has become the fifth person to be evicted from Big Brother 2011 after losing out to four other housemates in the public vote.

The 18-year-old learned his fate in the second half of Friday's show, after fellow nominees Aaron, Faye and Jay had all been told they had received enough votes to be safe from eviction - leaving him and Anton in the firing line.

And Aden's luck ran out after he received the lowest number of votes from viewers - but while he did not appear surprised to be going, Anton seemed unable to comprehend the fact that he was staying - and began to follow him up the stairs when he went to leave the house.

Aden is the first man to be voted out of the house following the evictions of Tashie Jackson, Rebeckah Vaughan, Heaven Afrika and Maisy James in previous weeks. However he is not the first man to leave, following Mark Henderson's decision to quit the house last week.

He received a largely positive response from the crowd upon emerging from the house - and afterwards said that his time in the house had been an "emotional rollercoaster".

Aden also admitted feelings for fellow housemate Rebeckah, with whom he had enjoyed a brief romance in the house. "We're closer than the cameras think," he said, "It was hard when she left because obviously we got so close and I kind of segregated myself from the group. When she left it was awful, it hurt. But it was like a rebirth."

The pair then had an emotional reunion on stage - with Aden asking the club hostess if she would like to be his girlfriend.

Rebeckah had also confessed strong feelings for Aden after she was evicted from the house.

His departure leaves nine housemates - including last weekend's newcomer Jem Palmer - remaining.
