Amy Childs confirms 'Essex' exit

Amy Childs has confirmed that she has quit The Only Way Is Essex - paving the way for her to appear on Big Brother.
It was recently reported that Amy decided to walk away from the ITV2 reality show, which propelled her to fame, after bosses vetoed her plans to do other TV work.
Now Amy, 21, has confirmed she will no longer be on the show, tweeting: "I will miss TOWIE so much."
She hinted at appearing on Big Brother, saying: "I'm sorry I haven't tweeted you all but I will let you know more when I can it's very exciting xxx."
Pamela Anderson, reality TV star Kerry Katona and Irish traveller Paddy Doherty - who won fame after appearing on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men - are also reported to be joining Big Brother.
The TV show relaunches on Channel 5 in mid-August with celebrities entering the house for the first few weeks to kick it off.
