Jade's mum 'can't bear to sell her home'

Jade Goody's mum Jackiey has said she is unable to sell her daughter's home because it is "too painful to part with", according to the papers.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Jackiey wants to hold on to the converted barn in Upshire, Essex for grandsons Bobby and Freddy - but also to retain "precious memories" of Jade's final days living there.

"Jackiey is in charge of what happens and she is finding it too painful to sell it," Jade's grandfather John Caddock told the paper. "She says it would be like losing Jade again."

"She is not ready to leave the precious memories of Jade behind. That house had a lot of happy moments - like Jade's wedding and a lovely family Christmas Day - and it is just too hard to let it go.

"I don't think she'll ever want to leave it behind. There is too much of Jade associated with the house."

The house was originally going to be sold to raise money for the trust fund set up by the late Big Brother star for her sons.

However Jackiey has said she would like it to be a place where Bobby and Freddy can stay with Jade's widower Jack Tweed.

"Jackiey would like Jack to live there and the boys could stay there with him from time to time - they've still got their bedrooms there," Caddock said.

"It's a special place for them too. No one's putting pressure on her to sell it so I think it's a good idea to keep the house."
