One half of Samanda breaks leg at their 21st

Amanda Marchant spent her 21st birthday in hospital after breaking her leg during a boat party.

The twin, known as Samanda when with her sister Samantha, was partying with the likes of Big Brother stars Luke and Bex, and Callum Best, when she tripped and injured herself.

"I was going to do my speech and because the floor was really sticky I fell down," she said.

"My eyes were watering and everyone thought I was getting emotional from my speech - it was so embarrassing."

The river boat party on the Thames wasn't due to anchor until 1am and Amanda hurt herself at midnight so she had to wait until the end of the evening before going off to hospital.

"I had to sit and watch everyone dancing and we were trying to think of things I could do while I was sitting down," she added.

"I didn't think I would be spending my 21st birthday in hospital."
