Britains Got Talent Amanda is Texas Holden!
Feb 3, 2010

Was this task as challenging as becoming a Paris showgirl or a stuntwoman?
"Even though I've sung on stage before, this style was a totally different ballgame. It was terrifying singing in these legendary venues - The Bluebird Cafe and The Broken Spoke - where the audience were so close I could literally have nicked a chip off them! The fact I could see them scared the hell out of me."
You seemed to get a bit gun happy at one point!
"Although I'm vegetarian and a member of Born Free I did get a bit gun happy when it came to shooting the melons. I knew it was wrong to like it, but there's no way I could shoot anything living - except maybe myself in the foot!"
What did your family and friends think of the challenges you chose?
"They all think I'm really jammy! Where else do you get a job that lets you do things you've always wanted to do and make a programme about it? My mum came with me for the Country & Western one, because she was looking after my daughter Lexi, and she was really proud of me."
Who was the most memorable person you met on your travels?
"I met many interesting people who I grew fond of during filming, but Kenny Rogers was the most amazing interview. He's so interesting and such an icon."
Did you find it odd that your performances were being judged for a change?
"Being a judge on Britain's Got Talent I feel it's only right that I put myself out there to be criticised or praised - just like people do in front of me."
Do you think many people will be surprised to see how versatile you are in Fantasy Lives?
"I hope so. I think when people first meet me they think I'm just a blonde actress with lip-gloss, but during this I put in the hard work and proved to myself I can achieve anything."
Would you like to make another series?
"Absolutely! I really hope there will be another series. I'm already thinking of exciting fantasy lives that might make good television. Maybe I could be a drummer in a rock band. Perhaps Black Sabbath could teach me and we could play Wembley!"
