Amanda Holden hails 'best Talent series yet' VIDEO

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has given a hint about some of the acts viewers can expect to see on the next series.

Speaking at the Children's Champions Awards in London on Wednesday, Amanda - who judges the ITV1 talent show with Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan - revealed that the best 40 acts have been chosen and that this year's contest could be the 'best series so far'.

And she said there was one act in particular that fans of the show should look out for this time round.

Amanda told whatsontv.co.uk: "There's a father/son act that I like that are kind of in the same vein as Signature last year in that you think that they might be doing one thing and they end up doing something else. There's lots of big surprises."

She also commented further on revelations earlier this year that Kelly Brook had been sacked as a judge after just six days.

"It was nothing do with her personally," she said. "It just got very confusing [with the buzzers]."

Amanda added that she enjoys being a judge on Britain's Got Talent so much, she'd happily do the job for free. "They're fools to pay me," she said.

The Children's Champions Awards 2009 is on Sunday March 8 at 4pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD.
