Andrew Johnston has spoken about his time on Britain's Got Talent, saying his fellow finalists were 'like family'.
Teen soprano Andrew, who came third in the ITV talent show, described appearing on the show as 'a great experience' - not least because he had formed such close bonds with the other finalists.
Andrew, whose debut album One Voice is released on Monday, said: "It was just a great experience. I only went on Britain's Got Talent for the experience - I never expected to get as far as I got."
He added: "It was amazing meeting all the acts and just having great fun, especially in the live semi-finals and the final and then when we went on tour we had great fun because we were all together like a family on the tour bus."
Andrew added that he didn't mind losing out on the top prize to teen breakdancer George Sampson.
He said: "I was really happy for George that he won. I thought it would be George, Signature and Faryl [Smith] in the final [three] and I was really pleased for George."
