Faryl: 'Me famous? No, but life's changed a bit'

Faryl Smith has declared that she doesn't see herself as famous, despite having the fastest-selling solo classical album in British history.

The Britain's Got Talent finalist said: "I don't really consider myself as being famous, but it's all going good.

"My life has changed a bit. I think obviously because I'm not at school as much now, I have to have tutoring and stuff like that, but I do always make sure I go back to school, it's kind of like living the dream but at 13."

The singing star was honoured with the Classical Award at the Silver Clef awards, hosted by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.

"I think, at 13 this is a great achievement, I've never won an award before so it's great," she said.

"I've always tried to get involved in children's charities and I think Nordoff-Robbins charity is a great charity to bring out children with disabilities and bring music into it and help them along. I think it's great so to get an award for it as well, I think, is fantastic."
