George Sampson's mum in court for dumping fan mail
04/11/2009 - 08:29

The mother of Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson will appear in court accused of dumping his fan mail.
Lesley Sampson, of Warrington, denies one count of flytipping and will appear before town magistrates on Wednesday where the case is due to be committed for trial at Warrington Crown Court.
If convicted, she could face five years in prison and a £50,000 fine.
It is alleged Sampson left 16 bags of rubbish - containing George's fan mail - in a wooded area backing on to her home in Lyster Close, Birchwood.
The bags were allegedly found behind her back garden fence.
George Sampson, 16, shot to fame when he won ITV's Britain's Got Talent last year.
