Kelly Brook: 'Ant and Dec got me sacked from BGT'

Kelly Brook has blamed Ant and Dec for her being sacked from Britain's Got Talent.

Kelly - who was axed as a fourth judge on the ITV1 talent show after just six days back in January - claims that she was dropped because the Geordie presenters didn't want her there.

She is quoted in The Sun as saying: "The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it. Ant and Dec had never been anything but pleasant to my face but, clearly, they didn't want me on the show."

Recalling the time she met everyone at the press call for Britain's Got Talent, Kelly said: "I can't remember exactly what I said to Ant and Dec, but it was something like: 'What will you two be doing backstage on the show?'

"Of course I knew what they did on the show. I'll admit that I hadn't spent every Saturday night at home watching BGT, but I had seen it.

She added: "Basically, I just don't think Ant and Dec liked me. Their egos are such that they were saying to themselves 'How dare she think she can come on to our show?', and since then they've been vocal about their displeasure at me being there."

Indeed, Ant and Dec have said that they were unhappy with Simon Cowell bringing another judge on the show without telling them.

"I would like to apologise to them now if they thought I didn't know who they were. I do think they are very talented guys who are great at what they do. People love them on television and that's why they work consistently."
