Sulky Simon threatens to quit over lack of Talent

Simon Cowell reportedly threatened to quit Britain's Got Talent after hopefuls at this week's London auditions failed to impress him.

The reality TV mogul declared: "I can't do this any more!" after watching a 66-year-old woman attempt to play a hosepipe connected to a toy penguin as a musical instrument, The Sun reports.

Simon moaned to the audience: "What the b****y hell? I am not going to be back next year - I am not kidding, I can't do this any more - I am 50 years old."

Amanda Holden, 38, pointed out that they were judges on a variety show, but Simon told her: "This is not what this show is all about."

TV's Mr Nasty has already described this year's Cardiff auditions as the 'worst ever'.

Among those hoping to show 'talent' and win a place at The Royal Variety Show 2010 have been a stripping estate agent and a horse and Shetland pony dancing to Michael Jackson's hit Billie Jean.

Last year's show produced hit dance troupe Diversity and Susan Boyle.
