Susan Boyle 'to move to London'

Singer Susan Boyle is finally set to move from her home in West Lothian to a flat in London, according to the papers.

The Sun reports that the 48-year-old - who became world famous after appearing on Britain's Got Talent in 2009 - will relocate to Chelsea after a series of security alerts at her Scottish home.

According to the paper she and her beloved cat Pebbles could move in as early as this summer, after turning down an offer to go and live in California.

"She has now agreed to move to a place in the city, where she'll stay when busy working," a source said.

"During promotion commitments, it is thought she will stay for weeks at a time. The flat will be cat-friendly, so she can take Pebbles too."

Executives at her record label, SyCo, have been urging Boyle to move after she discovered an intruder inside her council house in January. She also had trespassers at her window at Christmas.

"To see her in a secure location will ease a lot of minds," the insider said.
