Everybody's favourite talent show is back for a third series, with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan back in the judges' hot seats, cruelly contemplating their buzzers, eager to sort the talented from the talentless.

Individuals and groups of all ages were encouraged to audition for Britain's Got Talent 3. Dancers, dog trainers, singers and sportsmen all braved the judges' withering verdicts.

Piers Morgan promises us plenty of laughs this series. "Look out for Stavros Flatley," he says. "They're one of the funniest things I've ever see in my life. We were literally on the floor laughing."

One lucky act, hoping to follow in the footsteps of 2008's triumphant George Sampson and 2007's Paul Potts, will receive a £100,000 cash prize after the live final on May 30, plus the opportunity to perform in front of royalty at 2009's Royal Variety Performance.

Britain's Got Talent's wry hosts Ant and Dec are back behind the scenes, trying to suppress their giggles as the auditions unfold. "I think this year we have the most weird and wonderful collection of acts ever," says Dec.

The pair will also host the live semi-final shows when the top 40 acts have been chosen. "I can't wait to see some of these acts with a bit of production behind them," says Ant. "It's going to be impressive and sometimes hilarious."

Stephen Mulhern returns to host ITV2's sister show Britain's Got More Talent, with even more hilarious clips and features. Here, even the judges get involved and display their talents, including Piers Morgan in a dress!
