Alex Reid: 'I can't wait to be a dad with Katie'

Alex Reid has revealed he can't wait for fatherhood to come calling.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner, who's married to Katie Price, admitted the couple have already started trying for a sister or brother to Katie's three children.

"I really can't wait to become a dad and I'll be thrilled whether we have a boy or a girl whenever it happens," he told Star magazine.

"Katie said that we're already trying for a baby, and I can confirm that we did lots of practising in Vegas!"

Alex - who's filming his new show Alex Reid: The Fight Of His Life in India - said he's missing his new wife.

"It's been hard to be apart, but absence makes the heart grow fonder," he said. "I've been able to speak to Katie loads, unlike when I was on Celebrity Big Brother and couldn't have any contact with her at all. I wasn't able to get home before Valentine's Day, but Katie can rest assured I will be making it up to her with something very special soon."

He said he loves being married.

"I am still feeling so happy. It has finally all sunk in now, and being married to Mrs Reid is the most amazing thing in the world," Alex added.

"The only bad bit has been having to remove my wedding ring when I'm fighting! I don't like that at all."
