George Galloway deported from Egypt

Former Celebrity Big Brother contestant George Galloway has been deported from Egypt.
The Respect party MP, who famously wore a leotard and imitated a cat drinking milk while a Celebrity Big Brother housemate in 2006, was reportedly trying to return to Gaza to help members of a humanitarian convoy who had been arrested.
Plain clothes police officers bundled the MP for Bethnal Green and Bow on to a plane bound for London, said a spokeswoman for the Viva Palestina convoy.
"Mr Galloway had been trying to return to Rafah after news broke that seven of the convoy members are said to have been arrested," she said.
Mr Galloway spent the night in a cell in Egypt in 2006 after attending an anti-war event.
