Inbetweeners car leads Comic Relief eBay auction

The infamous car from E4's The Inbetweeners is currently at the top of the list of items being auctioned off for this year's Comic Relief.

The rundown Fiat Cinquecento, or 'mobile pulling machine' as it's known on the show, sparked a bidding frenzy when it was listed on eBay to raise money for charity, going from £50 to £5,100 in its first 24 hours, with the current bid now at £21,000.

The car joins a host of other items and experiences being offered from some of the most famous people in showbusiness, including a walk-on part in Richard Curtis's next film currently going for £2,5550, a poster, book and a T-shirt all signed by Bear Grylls currently at £531, and Olly Murs' guitar signed by all of this year's Comic Relief desert trekkers, going for £360.

Some of the most popular items include: tickets to the Loose Women set as well as lunch afterwards with the ladies, currently going for £1,220; tea at the Ritz with three actors from Downton Abbey going for £3,000; two tickets to the final Harry Potter premiere from Edith Bowman at £2,000; and four tickets to see one of Dara O Briain's show, including meeting him backstage and going for a pint afterwards for £1,990.

Other items include a script from Coronation Street's 50th anniversary live episode and a tour round the set for £750, a signed Peep Show DVD and tickets to any David Mitchell show for £620, Christine Bleakly's Karen Millen shoes from Ant & Dec's Big Red Nose Broadcast for £310, while a simple follow on Twitter from Cher Lloyd has reached £300 so far.

Although The Inbetweeners car looks set to keep its place at the top of the bidding table, a private street dance lesson with Ashley Banjo and the rest of the Diversity dance crew is racking up the bids, standing currently in second place with £6,100.
