*Dancing on Ice begins on Sunday, January 8 at 6.30pm on ITV1*

Dancing on Ice returns for its seventh series with 15 brave celebrities keen to get out onto the ice and show off their skating skills – or lack of them!

Among the famous faces taking part this year will be EastEnders’ Laila Morse – aka Big Mo – Hollywood child star Corey Feldman, Sugababes singer Heidi Range and Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment.

As well as the brand-new line-up of celebrities, viewers will notice some other changes to this year’s series. Christine Bleakley joins as Phillip Schofield’s new co-host while Pineapple Dance Studios’ star Louie Spence and Olympic figure-skating champion Katarina Witt will sit alongside head judge Robin Cousins on the ice panel.

Of course, skating legends Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean will once again be on hand to offer the contestants some technical tips in training and much-needed moral support during the live shows.

The skating stars have been in training for weeks to perfect their ice-dancing skills and Corrie’s Andy – who plays Kirk Sutherland in the ITV1 soap – doesn’t want to be first to be eliminated.

“I’m hoping I get through a good few weeks at least," he says. "I’m just going to do my best and hopefully the public will keep me in for a good while. Of course, I’d love to win, but I don't think I've got a cat in hell's chance, to be honest."

*Sam Attwater was the Dancing on Ice 2011 champion*
