Hollywood actor Corey Feldman has become the fourth celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice, following a show in which the couples skated in pairs in a bid to make it through to next week.

The 40-year-old Stand By Me star had already survived one previous skate-off and last Sunday avoided the bottom two altogether despite scoring just eight points out of 30 from the judges.

However this weekend his luck ran out when he found himself up against Dallas star Charlene Tilton in the skate-off.

And although he won support from Robin Cousins he eventually lost out by two votes to one when the other judges opted to save Charlene.

"It was your best performance by far Corey," Robin told him, "Charlene it didn't stay together as it had earlier."

Katarina Witt said she wanted to see Charlene "kick ice next week" - in response to an earlier remark from the actress - while Louie Spence sealed Corey's fate by delivering the final vote.

"It certainly was your best performance," he said, "but I am going to save my blonde bombshell."

Afterwards Corey - who had partnered American skater Brooke Castile on the show - said, "It's been a lot of fun, a tremendous experience - and I love London so any excuse to vacation here."

This week's show saw the 12 remaining couples skating in pairs, with the judges awarding immunity from the public vote to one couple from each pairing.

Corey performed a joint routine with Olympic skiier Chemmy Allcott, with the panel voting unanimously to award the immunity to Chemmy.

They did however acknowledge that he had improved, with Katarina saying, "Congratulations, this was your best performance...it's a big step in the right direction."

Four other celebrities - Sam Nixon, Jennifer Ellison, Jorgie Porter and Andy Whyment - were voted through to next week by the viewers.

The others voted through to next week by the judges were Chico, Heidi Range, Rosemary Conley, Matthew Wolfenden and Sebastien Foucan.
