Dancing On Ice: Heather Mills is out!

Heather Mills has become the fifth celebrity to get the boot from Dancing On Ice 2010 after losing out to Kieron Richardson in the skate-off.

Both Mills and Hollyoaks star Richardson found themselves in the bottom two for the first time this week, with other previous survivors of the skate-off, including Sharron Davies and Gary Lucy, winning through on the public vote.

However the judges were not unanimous in their decision after both had reprised their routines, with Richardson winning the vote by four to one.

Only Nicky Slater opted to save Mills, describing the pair as "chalk and cheese". Jason Gardiner, who voted for Richardson, described both skate-offs as "dynamic".

Afterwards Philip Schofield described Mills as "inspirational", while she said, "I'm just so excited that all the kids who have lost limbs who are now going out trying to skate. If anyone wants to get in contact and ask about how it is to skate then me and Matt (Evers) would love to help."

"And even anyone who's got two left feet should get out there," she added "it's so much fun, the nearest thing to flying."

Nine skaters now remain in the competition, including actress Emily Atack and Dr Hilary Jones who both made it through on the public vote despite once again finishing at the bottom of the judges' scoreboard.
