Jennifer Ellison: 'I won't skate without Dan!'

Jennifer Ellison says she will quit Dancing On Ice if her partner's injury means he can't skate with her.

The actress's professional skating partner Dan Whiston has torn a hamstring and Jen has tweeted that she doesn't want to go on without him.

"For all those asking, if Dan can't skate on Sunday then I won't be. So I'm afraid I may be hanging up my boots before it's even begun," she said.

However, it seems Dan is hoping he'll still be able to compete.

The Daily Star quotes a show insider as saying: "Thankfully, it's just the first week. That means the routine isn't that challenging so he may be able to wing it on the night."

The show has been plagued with injuries already, with Chesney Hawkes, Sugababe Heidi Range and EastEnders' Laila Morse among those to have hurt themselves on the ice.
