Kyran Bracken wins!

*England rugby player Kyran Bracken won the second series of Dancing on Ice*

Dancing On Ice was a massive hit with viewers when it was first shown on ITV1 in 2006, and the second series promises to be just as popular - if viewers haven't tired of the glut of reality TV already shown in 2007.

Presented by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Dancing On Ice sees celebrities take to the ice with their professional ice-skating partners each week and dance their skates off in the hope of impressing a panel of tough-talking judges - and winning that all-important public vote!

Helping to keep all of the aspiring ice-dancers on their toes - in more ways than one - are Britain's favourite ice-skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Actress Gaynor Faye, ex-footballer David Seaman, Torchwood's John Barrowman and presenter Andi Peters were among the celebrities who took part in the first series.

Viewers witnessed a heady mix of awe-inspiring highs and - in the case of David Seaman's partner Pam - jaw-dropping lows. And who could forget Andi Peters quite literally sweeping his partner off her feet? Or John Barrowman's rhinestone Elvis jumpsuit?

More than 12 million people tuned in to see Gaynor Faye crowned Dancing On Ice champion after a nail-biting final with Bonnie Langford and actor Stefan Booth, which saw each couple perform their own version of Torvill and Deans legendary Bolero.

Among those entered this year are DJ Neil Fox, former Blue star Duncan James and Emmerdale actress Emily Symons. As always, judges including former figure-skating champion Robin Cousins and the frosty Jason Gardiner, will be on hand to give their verdict on the performances.

For those who can't get enough, Dancing On Ice's sister show Dancing On Ice: Defrosted returns to ITV2 with Stephen Mulhern getting all the backstage gossip after the live show. For all of the news as it happens log onto www.whatsontv.co.uk.
